Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti have finished working on a new studio album titled 'CARTER TUTTI PLAY CHRIS & COSEY'. This album mirrors the songs in their current critically acclaimed live performance set. That is... these are new reinterpretations and reworkings of classic Chris & Cosey songs from the 1980s and 1990s. The album will be available on gatefold CD, gatefold double-vinyl and digital. Each format version features an exclusive remixed track. Worldwide release date is 17th February 2015.
For their recent 2014 USA shows they released a tour CD album titled 'CARTER TUTTI REMIX CHRIS & COSEY' - which featured remixed versions of Cowboys In Cuba, Dancing Ghosts, Deep Velvet, October (Love Song) and Lost Bliss. A few remaining copies of the remix album were available in UK record stores during March but this limited run album has now sold out. It will be available again in digital format in 2015.
After this album release Chris and Cosey will be recording a brand new CARTER TUTTI studio album to be released in the latter part of 2015.
MUTE SYNTH II
The limited edition comes boxed with an CD album of works using the synth by artists associated with Dirty Electronics and Mute. The CD features a track by me, Simon Fisher Turner, Dominic Butler (Factory Floor), Kidanevil, Dirty Electronics and others.

unfortunately the first ‘black’ batch sold out straight away,
a further batch of ‘white’ synths are available to pre-order now.
KEEP ME POSTED
‘Back in the day’ although my blogging was relatively inconsistent (actually more like erratic) it was still a hell of a lot more than I’ve bothered doing over the last few years, which has been so patchy and sporadic to be nearly undetectable. I like reading other people’s blogs, well at least blogs that have something interesting or funny to say but I’ve come to the decision that I’m not really the blogger type any more. I do like posting the occasional anecdote, insight or rant but two or three of these a year seems to be my average, or my limit? In my opinion that is hardly blogging at all.
So I have decided to retire all our remaining Blogger/Blogspot sites (or whatever it’s called these days), which in any case were basically just mirrors of the blogs/news on our main web sites. The Throbbing Gristle / Industrial Records and Chris & Cosey Blogger/Blogspot pages were already mothballed some time ago. The Gristleizer page hasn’t seen an update for 18 months or more and my CCCL Blogger page (aka: Chris Carter's Chemistry Lessons) hasn’t seen any action for three years… a disgraceful state of affairs!
So.. the CCCL Project and old Gristleizer site have now been incorporated into my site, which makes perfect sense and I don’t know why I didn’t do that years ago - and the (previously retired) Gristleism site is now part of the Throbbing Gristle / Industrial Records sites.
I could end this post by saying that now all these different Blogger/Blogspot sites have been rationalised and taken ‘in house’ (so to speak) a lot more posts and updates will be forthcoming… but I won’t.
